More Christmas goodies
Grandma Georgie sent me money for Christmas and asked that Mommy & Daddy pick out something I would like. So, we went to our local Children’s store and I got to pick out one thing and Mommy helped me pick out another. Check it out:
I got an owl for my new big girl bedroom. It matches perfectly. On one side the owl is awake and the other side it is sleeping. Mommy said it’s meant to be a door hanger but I like to carry it around like a purse and play with it. I also got a moby wrap for my dollies. It’ll be fun for me to carry around my baby dolls like mommy will carry around my new little brother or sister someday. Thanks Grandma Georgie.

The carousel
Today, Daddy, Mommy and I went to the mall. Mommy wanted to return a couple of books that she received for Christmas so I got to play with the train table while she did that. I also got to take a ride on the carousel. I normally pick the zebra to ride, but Daddy encouraged me to try the kitty this time. It was just as much fun!

The Day after Christmas
‘Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the house…
not a creature was stirring, except this oversized monkey hybrid.
Mommy forgot to show everyone a gift that arrived for our entire family a bit before Christmas. It’s an Advent/countdown to Christmas calendar that was sent to us from TX (GAT & GUR!!) Mommy is especially excited to start the tradition with us next year. I already enjoy opening the little drawers and looking for trinkets and treats.

Merry Christmas
I hope everyone had a super Christmas Holiday. I sure did. I was definitely spoiled again, but what else is new? Here are a few pictures of me with some of my favorite gifts, all from different people.
Thanks to Auntie Jen & Uncle Craig for the Monkey towel, and Grandma Pat & Grandpa John for the backpack.
I love my Raggedy Ann doll from Great Aunt Tiny & Great Uncle Russ.
Yep, we had matching pajamas again this year. Actually, Mommy & Daddy are wearing the same ones as last year but mine are definitely a size bigger. Mommy is going to have to stock up on these pajamas for me in every size (although I bet I’ll still be wearing this size at Christmas next year as I just sized up in my gymmies.)
Here I am with my dollhouse from GaaGaa & Papa. The very first present I opened on Christmas day was a box of dollies and things for the house and I didn’t want to open any more presents after that, all I wanted to do was play with my new mini dollies. Even GaaGaa got in on the dollhouse action. Thanks so much to everyone who sent me a present. You are all so thoughtful and I love them all!
On Christmas day we played out in the snow. I didn’t like the snow falling into my eyes so GaaGaa took me back in to play. Mommy thinks I just wanted to go play with my toys, but will be extra careful about outside play in the future when it’s snowing out. She said it’s way too much work to get everyone dressed if I’m not going to like it.
Mommy, Daddy and Papa build a huuuuuuge snow family. The Daddy snowman was around 7 feet tall. Also, if you look carefully the Mommy snowman is sporting a small pregnant belly, just like Mommy.

Christmas with our Godson
After dinner with Phil-Cool, Janet & Baby Mark we had a special present to give to Baby Mark who is my God-brother. Actually, he’s Mommy & Daddy’s Godson, I just like to call him my God-brother since I don’t have an actual one. I sure was surprised when Phil & Janet had a gift for me too. They got me 3 books by Lauren Thompson from the little quack series. I love them!!!
Mommy had a print made of his footprint that matches his ducky bedroom. He seemed pretty excited about it and Mommy and Daddy were super excited to spend a night with their Godson and friends.

Gingerbread houses
Today, I made gingerbread houses with my friends. It was a lot of fun. Mommy’s friend Anna was kind (or crazy) enough to open up her house to a handful of toddlers and tons of candy decorations. My favorite part was eating all of the yummy treats. Mommy’s favorite part was decorating the house. She had a lot of fun too.

My fancy towel
Check out the towel on my head after swimming today. Mommy thought it was so cute she just had to take a picture.

Cookies with Mrs. Claus
Today, at the library I got to decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus. I had already met Santa Claus, so it was pretty neat to meet his wife. I didn’t get to stay and play with my friends as long as I would have liked, Mommy made me leave after I ran away from her for the 7th time.
The local tv station was there and my friend Elliot made it onto tv. There was a neat clip of him nom’ing his cookie. Sadly, I didn’t make the cut.

Time to catch up….
It’s been a busy week or so since I last blogged. Here are some fun pictures to catch you up…
I had my friend Taylor come over to play last Thursday. It was fun and we had a great time together.
Here I am with Mommy’s favorite (and very very precious) fur earmuffs. Mommy finally let me touch them and even try them on. She loves them so much it’s one of the very few things I wasn’t allowed to touch.
Here I am at my dance dress recital going off backstage with my class. I’m in the green shirt on the left.
I was supposed to look like an orphan and danced to the song Hark Knock Life.
Here I am on Saturday, the day of the recital.
I decided to sit down for a little longer than I was supposed to.
