I really enjoyed my week off from everything for the Thanksgiving Holiday. However, I’m also excited to go back to school. Here I am ready to go this morning!

New furniture
Today, we went shopping for some new family room furniture. We didn’t end up buying anything at this store, but I had fun driving the car anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving
Today is a day to be thankful for all of our blessings (at least that is what Mommy and Daddy say.) They asked me to think about what I’m thankful for, I guess I’m still thinking about that. Mommy and Daddy said that they’re thankful for a lot of things and then began to list them all. I can’t really remember everything they said, so I’m just going to say that they’re thankful for their bean.
Mommy discovered this yummy sparkling apple cider before Christmas last year and enjoyed it so much she bought it again this year for the Holidays. I was thankful that she let me have some of the yummy apple juice too. We even got to do “Cheers.”
It sure was delicious and I even got to drink it out of a pretty fancy my sized glass. Daddy called it a shot glass, but it didn’t hurt like when I have to get shots at the clinic, so I don’t know what he was talking about.

Christmas Trees
Here I am putting the star on my tree. We have 3 little trees (one for each of us) that have special ornaments for each of us on them.
My visit with Santa Claus
I asked Santa Claus for books this year. I enjoy looking at books. Mommy said this was the first time that I wouldn’t smile when she asked me to for a picture.
In other news, potty training is going very very well and I’m wearing big girl panties all the time now! I’m also doing a great job sleeping in my toddler bed and taking naps. I guess I was just ready to become a “big girl.”

Baking Cookies
We’re really busy in our house right now. There are tons of projects going on. Papa has an entire week off from work so we’ve enlisted him and Gaa Gaa to help with lots of fun projects around here. So far we’ve converted my crib to a toddler bed and started painting my big girl room. You can see papa in the background of this picture with a large pillow in his hands. We had to bring that pillow with us to the store to get a color custom-made to match it. Mommy is very very picky about the color, so her and Papa had to go back to get it fixed when the test spot did not match.
GaaGaa and I stayed busy with baking cookies. I got to help out quite a bit. Also, if you’re wondering why I’m still in my jammies, it’s because Mommy and GaaGaa are potty training me and they thought it would be easier to keep me in something comfy and easily accessible.
GaaGaa let me eat the peanut butter off of the spoon while Mommy was gone at the paint store.
Here I am rolling the peanut butter cookies into balls. I’m pretty good at it.
Mommy is unsure of the cause for Lauren putting her foot in her mouth and now questions the sanitary conditions of the kitchen/cookies. Hahahha, only kidding. I told Daddy that I had sugar on my toes and Daddy told me to lick it off…nice huh?
Here I am putting sprinkles on the sugar cookies.

Time for a change
Today, Daddy and Papa converted my crib into a toddler bed. Mommy is really worried about the transition, but I think it’s going to be neat and fun.
Here I am giving it a try.
Here is my favorite thing about nap and bedtime….my paci. Mommy will only allow me to have them while I sleep.

Dance Class
I just started taking a dance class last Thursday. My teacher thinks I’m awesome and told me that I was dancing and following directions like I had been there since the beginning of the year (classes started 2 months ago.) I’m in the WEE dancers class and our first performance is coming up on December 12th. We’ll be orphans dancing to Hard Knock Life.
Today, at class the parents got to come in and watch us practice the dance. Mommy took pictures with both the flash on and off to try to get some good ones. She said that she’s sorry for the blurriness.

Swimming at the LCARC
Today, Mommy, me and some of my friends went swimming at the Community Center in Lake Crystal. They have a fun children’s area with a water slide. We had a lot of fun. So much that I hope we do it again and rent out the whole place so we can go down the really really REALLY cool waterslide.

My giant belly
Tonight, after Mommy got home from teaching her night class we had a little time to play with my blocks and build a tower before it was bath time. We built the tower like we usually do and then I handed her glow bones bear and asked her to put it on top. It took a couple of tries but she did it. Then I bumped into the tower while sticking out my tummy and used my giant belly to knock it down. We repeated it several times. What fun!

1 2 3 Blastoff
Today, I was really creative and used one toy to launch another toy across the room. Mommy tried to catch me doing it on video, so be sure to watch it.

My puffy piggies
Check out my puffy bun pig tails. Mommy put my hair in pig tails but didn’t pull the hair all the way through so I had little buns.
I also got to play with the trains today. Mommy has been keeping me away from all of the public play areas (except school) for awhile now. She was really careful with trying to make sure I didn’t put anything into my mouth, or touch my eyes. I also used a lot of hand sanitizer. I don’t have full protection from my H1N1 vaccine yet, but it should be fairly close.

My Fort
Tonight, Daddy helped me build a fort. It was a lot of fun. I was completely surrounded in my house.
“Oh Hai!”

Bye Bye Friends
When Mommy picked me up from school today we had been playing outside. After our teachers brought us in, we lined up and sang a couple of songs. One of my favorite songs is the bye bye song. I like to sing it at home too.

Pizza dough play dough
Today Daddy had the day off for veterans day. We ran some errands and then met some of my friends for lunch at Dino’s Pizzeria. It was super yummy and the waitress even brought us kids some dough balls to play with while our food was baking. The dough was a lot of fun (as was drawing on the table.)
