My first wedding

Yesterday Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa and I went to a wedding reception.  The couple (Megan and Brian) were married in California a couple of weeks ago and just had their reception back home in MN.  Megan is Mommy's cousin and they grew up together because Megan and her family lived right across Mommy's backyard.

Mommy was a bit nervous about bringing me along because I was cranky earlier, but once we got there and I got used to all of the people we had a really fun time.  Here are some pictures from the evening.  I'll have to put up a video of Daddy and I dancing a bit later.  He has some good moves!!

Here I am playing peek-a-boo with the tablecloth.  I actually heard mommy say, "I really don't care what she's doing as long as she's quiet."  I may have wore her down a bit with my crankiness over the past week or so.

Here I am with my hair pretty back in my hair.  I love to have my hair done and know what a "pretty" is.  I can also drink from a straw pretty well.  A lovely lady, who was also named Lauren, got me some more milk in this neat-o cup after I drank the whole cup Mommy brought.

After I noticed Mommy and Daddy dancing and spinning around together I stopped dancing and just watched them for awhile.  Come to think about it, I think most people just stopped and watched them.  Mommy and Daddy can sure move and spin so pretty together.  Grammy tells me that they used to dance a lot before I came along and that's why they're pretty good.  Mommy said that she barely remembers how to dance anymore.  Daddy still does though, because he has been doing it a lot longer than Mommy has.

Here I am dancing with Grammy and Papa.  I've started calling Grandpa Koch "Papa" because it's easier (and Mommy and Grammy have been working on it with me.)

I'm a little helper

Here are some better pictures of Lauren when she put herself to sleep on Tuesday.  I had to take a few with something other than my camera phone.  She slept for about an hour...just long enough to make us late for ECFE.

Our Christmas Jammies

Mommy was super excited that our Matching Christmas jammies arrived today from Gymboree.  She's always wanted to have a family and dress up in matching jammies on Christmas while opening gifts and now she has it.  Check out the cute pictures.

Don't mind the bed in the middle of our living room.  The basement is STILL under construction and our living room is the new guest room.

Grandma & Grandpa T come to visit

Grandma and Grandpa T came from Duluth to visit me this weekend.  I hadn't seen them since my birthday party in July, so it was nice to see them.  I have been feeling a bit shy lately, so it took me awhile to warm up, but once I did it was good times.  Here are a few pictures from their visit.  Mommy didn't take very many because they have an awesome camera and always give her the pictures they take afterwards.

I'm a buzzzzing...

Today was Halloween and Mommy and I have been looking forward to it for awhile now.  Mommy found my costume "on the cheap" as she calls it.  However, she then decided to spend a fortune for her and Daddy to have matching costumes to go with mine, so I don't think there was any "economic value" (or something like that, that I heard Daddy mumbling about.)

Grandma and Grandpa have been visiting since Wednesday because Grampy had surgery to repair a thumb that he hurt at work (it didn't bend anymore.)  He has a weird cast on his left hand.  Good thing he's right handed, Mommy says that he still has to work and earn his keep.  I have a feeling I'm going to be seeing a lot of them over the next month because he can't work for like 5 weeks and what else would they do with their time if they don't have to work?  See me of course!!!

So anyway, today we went to a Halloween party.  Then, we went to the mall to trick or treat indoors.  It was a lot of fun.  Check out our pictures.

After we got back from the mall we went to the houses in our cul-de-sac.  Last year Mommy and Daddy took my picture with all of the neighbors, but I didn't exactly cooperate with that idea this year.  I'm a mover and a shaker now and don't have time for that kind of stuff.

Our new next door neighbors have a niece that was born a few days after I was.  It turns out Mommy & Daddy were in birthing class together with her parents.  Too funny!  She was a chicken and a cute one too.  Mommy almost bought me that costume, so it was pretty funny.
