Fun day at Open Play

Today was a rainy day (so I wore my umbrella outfit HAHAH!)  Luckily, it was also the first Open Play day at the center close to our house.  It's so fun to go to my school and play on Friday mornings when the weather is yucky. 

 

Mommy didn't take any pictures of me actually playing (it was PACKED!) However, here are some while we were getting ready to go for lunch and put our raincoats on.  These were taking right after Daultin grabbed my hand and we ran away from our mommies towards the soaking wet playground.

Here I am (at Culver's, since we all went out for lunch afterward) with my buddy Daultin.  I don't get to see him much anymore since we're not in class together this year.  We still have our play-dates though.  I was very excited to see him and we gave each other lots of hugs!

Our day at Valleywood Stables

Today, we went to my friend Alayna's house for a play date.  Her parent's own a local stable with lots of kitties and horses.  The kitties were all very friendly and even let me pet them.

After we played with the kitties, it was time for some apple picking.  There were two big apple trees full of apples.

The reason we picked apples was so we could feed them to the horses.  We used sticks to feed them since I was told our little fingers resemble food to them.  The horses really liked the apples.

After feeding the horses, I decided that I was very very hungry and couldn't possible wait for lunch.  I snacked on this apple for the rest of the playtime.  It was yummy!

We also feed the horses (and goat) carrots and went on four-wheeler rides.  It was a TON of fun!

First day of (pre-pre)school

Today was my first day of pre-preschool.  It's a two day a week program where Mommy and I go together on one day and then she drops me off on the other day.  I went to bed very excited last night and the very first words out of my mouth this morning were, "Marleigh Keana!!"  Those are the names of two of my friends who were in school with me.  I was very exicted to see them and play with them.

My outfit for the first day of school was a little big on me yet.  The pants are supposed to be a cropped length but were more like actual pants.  Whoops, I guess I might need to do some more growing.

I looked a little skeptical in the first picture but I wasn't.  I'm very familiar with the room as it was "Mommy's room" last year.  I feel very comfortable at school and especially love the water fountains outside of my room.   I had a fun time. :)

Back to school

Today Mommy had to go Back to school (work.)  She's teaching even fewer hours than last year (which she doesn't mind.) However, I think we're going to be even busier than last year.  On Monday, Mommy has two classes (one of which I go with for.)  Then on Tuesday, I have my pre-preschool class and Mommy teaches a class at night.  On Wednesday afternoon I have gymnastics and then on Thursday I have the drop off part of my pre-preschool class.  Phew!  I think it's going to be a busy fall.  Here are some pictures of me wearing apples in celebration of back to school.

My pretty toes

Yesterday at gymnastics I noticed two girls about my age with "pretty toes."  Mommy said we could maybe paint mine sometime too after I noticed their toes.  Today she was taking the polish off of her toes and I asked her to "paint my toes."  It was really neat-o.  Now, my nails are very pretty.

Mommy picked a nice light shade of beige-pink called Frozen Fantasy.

Tonight we went to a new concert series in the park called "Alive after 5."  It wasn't quite as much fun as songs on the lawn was this summer.  I think that may have been because there were fewer people and fewer vendors.  I was super bummed that there wasn't any Angie's Kettle Corn, that stuff is awesome (and local!)  Overall, it was a fun day!

Gymnastics

Fall gymnastics started today and I was excited to go.

Mommy noticed that I needed a diaper change after taking this picture so I had to take off my leo and get dressed again.

It's been a week

We haven't done much in the past week.  I got sick, then I gave my sickness to Mommy and Daddy. We didn't go anywhere or do anything much over our long weekend.  Here are a couple of pictures of me from today.

I just love to put this bucket/basket on my head.

Here I am in my new skeleton gymmies.  I just love them.  Mommy was very caution about trying these on me.  She showed me what they would look like in the dark (they glow like a flashlight) and I got super excited for my "glow jammies."

Here I am in my crib all ready for bed (minus my blanket.)  Mommy tried to take a picture of them glowing but couldn't get it to turn out, so she turned on the flash.

Another day

My Halloween costume arrived today.  It's super cool and I just love it.  I'm going to keep the pictures to myself for now, maybe wait until Halloween is a bit closer before the final reveal.  Here are some pictures of me just hanging out and playing today.
