Tree-mendous Playground

Tonight we went to St. Peter to the Treemendous playground.  Mommy helped build this playground when she was in college through her group Kappa Delta Pi.  It's a really fun playground with a lot of slides.  I love slides!

I also really liked this BIG swing.  It was like a throne!

After the playground, Daddy wanted some ice cream so we went to DQ.  Mommy planned to share a small cone with me but I didn't do so well with sharing.  I think she may have had 2 licks of the cone.  I ate the WHOLE THING!  It was yummy.

The Wedding Princess

Mommy took me in today to get my flower girl dress pinned.  I'm going to be in Auntie Tiffany's wedding in a couple of weeks and my dress didn't fit very well.  Since we're leaving early for her wedding we had to take it in ASAP.  Luckily they're going to have it completed by Wednesday.  If all goes well we may not even have to cut any off the bottom of the dress.  Mommy is hoping I'll grow another inch in the next two weeks (hahahaha!)

I was trying to rip the tag off of the dress so Mommy gave me a different tag to hold instead.  It was delicious.

The lady who is going to fix my dress was so nice and she called me "The Wedding Princess."  I really liked that title.  Maybe Mommy should have made me a crown instead of a hair clip?

Swim some more

Here is my excited face when Mommy told me we were going to swim today.

Mommy was disappointed because she thought it was going to be bigger than it actually is.

Daddy decided to entertain us by hurdling the whale slide.

 

It was a fun day in the sun.

After dinner, we explored a new park.  We also walked for a bit on a trail and looked at a Children's memorial.

23 months

I am now 23 months old.  Here are some interesting facts about me:

*My favorite food is fruit of any kind. Mommy says I'm going to be a fruitatarian.

*I'm working on getting in some more teeth.  They're very very painful and I've bit myself a couple of times.

*Now that it's summer again I ask to "svim" on a daily basis (swim.)

*I'm growing everyday but Mommy doesn't think I'll be into my 2t fall/winter clothes for awhile yet.  It's good that all my stuff from spring still fits.

Waterpark

We went to the water park in Waseca today.   Here I am waiting for Anna & Elliot to arrive so we could ride with them.  Mommy is a little paranoid about Anna going into labor and had a dream about Anna's water breaking at the waterpark, so she thought it would be good to ride with them.

 

  I had a rough time again at lunch.  Teething and getting older is hard work and I may not be coping with either one very well right now.  Mommy is trying to be patient with me but I can tell I'm frustrating her too.  Here is a cute picture of me enjoying a mini ice cream cone.  It was pretty much the best part of lunch.

Here I am chasing Daddy around a tree at a park later tonight.  I'm pretty fast, so you have to be quick to get away from me. 

Songs on the lawn

Anna & Elliot were nice enough to share their Kettle Corn with Mommy and me.  It was sooooo yummy Mama decided we needed our own bag.  I enjoyed dancing to the music.  It was the last of the outdoor concert series.  I really liked all the music in the park and look forward to going again next June.

Prepare for High Seas

Daddy always says that he needs to prepare the deck for high seas when bad weather is coming.  Today the weather was so bad even the preparation didn't help.  Check it out...

The chairs were originally all stacked up in the corner and the grill was covered with it's wheels locked into place.  Maybe we should plant some trees?

Daddy has pretty hair

Today a new outfit and hair pretties came for me in the mail.  Mommy was excited because it's for fall and it's a hard to find line (Tiger Love.)  I was excited because it came with "big kitty" hair pretties.  Here is Daddy modeling them.  He let me put them in his hair with a little help from mommy and himself.  He may look like his ego is bruised by modeling my hair pretties, but it was kind of his idea, so don't let him fool you.

Serengeti Waterpark

We went to the Holiday Inn in Owatonna this weekend.  They have a water park attached to the hotel so we spent a lot of time in the pool.  Mommy didn't bring the camera with to the pools the first time, so we only have pictures of our second visit to the water park.

We started off the day at the outlet mall in Medford.  Here I am playing legos with Daddy. I really enjoyed this table.  So much so, that I threw one whopper of a fit when it was time to go.  Mommy is thinking that a lego table at home may be in my future.  Mommy is also really excited to report that a Gymboree outlet will be opening in Medford sometime this summer.  The gymbo outlet doesn't sell the same stuff as the retail stores.  They remake older lines for the outlet.  Mommy is hoping for a remake of a couple of her favorite vintage lines from 2004 soon.

Here is Daddy taking off my shoes so I can properly jump on the bed.  Mommy says it's not really a trip to a hotel unless you jump on the bed.  She refrained from jumping this time so she could try to set a good example, but I overheard her talking about jumping on a bed while she was pregnant with me (and hanging out with some of her cousins, aunts, and GaaGaa.)

This was the extent of my nap.  Daddy trying to sleep and me excited to go swimming.  We had quiet rest time for 30 minutes and Mommy deemed me "good."

After Dinner, we waited an appropriate amount of time (hahah we went shopping for a bit) and then went swimming again.  It was so much fun.

It was soooo much fun going down the tube slide with Mama and Daddy.  I just kept asking for more!  Mommy was really nervous about it at first, but after she watched a bunch of people bring their wee-ones down she decided we could do it too.

Mommy took these pictures this morning.  I woke up early (at about 7:00) and Daddy knew I would sleep longer, so he brought me to bed with him and Mommy.  Mommy took the picture on the right to show how much space I take up.  Daddy had originally put me in the middle of the bed, but I rolled.
