Big Sister Lauren (?)

Surprise, it's a 2 month old...

Just kidding!  Today Lauren and I got to watch Baby Mary for a little while when big brother Elliot made his first visit to the dentist.  We had fun playing with her.  We showed her toys, squeaked blocks for her and even read her a few stories.  She eventually tired out, fussed for a bit and then fell asleep.  Lauren got pretty freaked out when I changed Mary's diaper and she was crying.  Lauren started to cry too.  However, Mary quickly recovered and so did Lauren.

Of course Lauren had to try out the boppy pillow before Mary got to.  She also took lots of pictures (with her camera) of this fun event.

 

Lauren came running out of her room with an arm full of books that she insisted we "read to baby Mary."  They both laid down and listened intently.  Then Lauren ran over to Mary's baby seat and "rock baby."  She was really gentle and no babies were harmed since she wasn't in it.  It was a fun morning.
